Dear mr. President:

I am writing this letter to you as a loyal citizen of the United States of America. I am not writing this letter to you to point out the good things you did for this country since you are in the office, but to point out the matters you are doing to others; what, I am for sure, you would not like if others did the same to you.

You are very well known as a defender of U.S. interests at home and especially abroad. For that reason  you did conspire many times against vital interests of other nations. Do you do this knowingly, Mr. President, because you know very well you cannot be brought to trial? Or do you do this, Mr. President, because that is the policy of the Honorable United States Constitution?

The purpose of this letter, Mr. President, is to point out to you the effort that you are making to release Mr. Nicholas Danniloff from “KGB espionage charges”, and Russian custody. Why, Mr. President, are you so afraid that Mr. Danniloff will appear before a trial? Or, are you afraid that the Russian Court of Justice will not be fair!!!???

Mr. President, did you think of the fairness of communist trials when you ordered extradition to Yugoslavia of an elderly, sick, and blind man of 86 years of age, Dr. Andrija Artuković in February of this year?

Mr. President, last Monday in Denver, you called the Soviet detention of an American journalist an “outrage”. If this is so, what would you call a “raid” effectuated on nine Croatians on June 25, 1981? Was this an “outrage” for Croatian people or something else?

Mr. President, I am deeply sorry for what happened to Mr. Danniloff and his family. I am the one for sure who can entirely understand his feelings of innocence  and his desire to be acquitted  from espionage accusations and charges. Why me? Because I am one of those 10 Croatians who were arrested on June 25, 1981, and held in U.S. custody for FBI’s accusations under RICO Statute. I had to appear before U.S District Court in New York on February 15, 1982. to prove my innocence to the court and be acquitted of all charges on May 15, 1982. I had to close my business for over a year and had to spend over $360.000 dollars to clear up my name from the “professional duties” of the U.S. Attorney’s office. Four of us were acquitted while six others were given unduly high sentences.

Mr. President, I am supporting your antiterrorism program but am against a privilege I have learned during my three month’s trial in New York. That trial was a good scenario of the movie, “Verdict”, featuring the movie actor, Paul Newman.

I have six American children and strongly believe that one of them will be ambitious to exonerate me and all Croatian people from the U.S State Department’s wrongly and untrue accusations of all kinds. Mr. President, Croatian people are very honorable people, from the beginning, who contributed too much for the development of this country. One of them is Physicist, Nikola Tesla, and so on. There is no such thing as “fair trial or fair justice.” There is ONLY POWER. As I did not have any power, I had to spend a lot of money to defend myself while Mr. Danniloff does not have to spend a penny because a great POWER is behind him, as well as behind Mr. Gennady Zakharov.

Now, Mr. President, can you see the difference between POWER PEOPLE and SUBJECT PEOPLE? Can you admit, Mr. President, that justice is not in the books of the Constitution but in man’s HEART. Can you admit, Mr. President, that all prosecutors in every country are looking for justice in LAW BOOKS because they do not have it in their HEARTS.

For all reasons, Mr. President, I understand your fear about Mr. Danniloff appearing before a Russian trial as I was in fear for myself and my friends in new York’s trial and for Mr. Artuković’s trial in Yugoslavia.

I hope this letter will proceed to the designated person – The President of the United States of America..

Poštovani gospodine. Predsjednik:
Pišem vam ovo pismo kao odani građanin Sjedinjenih Američkih Država. Ne pišem vam ovo pismo kako bih vam ukazao na dobre stvari koje ste učinili za ovu zemlju od kako ste u uredu, već kako bih drugima ukazao na stvari koje radite; što, siguran sam, ne bi volio da i drugi rade isto prema Vama.

Vrlo ste poznati kao branitelj interesa SAD-a u zemlji, a posebno u inozemstvu. Iz tog razloga  ste se mnogo puta urotili protiv vitalnih interesa drugih nacija. Činite li to svjesno, gospodine predsjedniče, jer dobro znate da ne možete biti izvedeni pred sud? Ili to radite, gospodine predsjedniče, jer je to politika Časnog Ustava Sjedinjenih Država?

Svrha ovog pisma, gospodine predsjedniče, je da Vam ukažem na napore koje ulažete da oslobodite g. Nicholas Daniloff-a od “optužbi KGB-a za špijunažu” iz ruskog pritvora. Zašto se, gospodine predsjedniče, toliko bojite da će se g. Danniloff pojaviti pred suđenjem? Ili se bojite da ruski sud pravde neće biti pravedan i pošten pošten!!!???

Gospodine Predsjedniče, jeste li razmišljali o pravednosti komunističkih suđenja kada ste u veljači ove godine naredili izručenje u Jugoslaviju starijeg, bolesnog i slijepog čovjeka od 86 godina, dr. Andrije Artukovića?

Gospodine predsjedniče, prošlog ponedjeljka u Denveru ste sovjetsko pritvaranje američkog novinara nazvali “sramotom”. Ako je tako, kako biste nazvali “raciju” na devet Hrvata 25. lipnja 1981.? Je li to bilo “zgražanje” hrvatskog naroda ili nešto treće?

Gospodine predsjedniče, duboko mi je žao zbog onoga što se dogodilo gospodinu Danniloff-u i njegovoj obitelji. Ja sam taj koji zasigurno može u potpunosti razumjeti njegov osjećaj nevinosti i njegovu želju da bude oslobođen optužbi i optužbi za špijunažu. Zašto ja? Jer ja sam jedan od onih 10 Hrvata koji su uhićeni 25. lipnja 1981. i držani u američkom pritvoru zbog optužbi FBI-a prema Statutu RICO-a. Morao sam se pojaviti pred Okružnim sudom SAD-a u New Yorku 15. veljače 1982. kako bih dokazao svoju nevinost pred sudom i bio oslobođen svih krivičnih optužbi 15. svibnja 1982. Morao sam zatvoriti svoj posao više od godinu dana i morao sam potrošiti više od 360.000 dolara da očistim svoje ime od “profesionalnih dužnosti” ureda američkog državnog odvjetnika. Nas četvero je oslobođeno optužbi, dok je šestoro dobilo neopravdano visoke kazne.

Gospodine predsjedniče, podržavam vaš antiteroristički program, ali sam protiv privilegije koju sam naučio tijekom tromjesečnog suđenja u New Yorku. To suđenje moglo bi biti jedan dobar dio scenarija filma “Presuda”, u kojem se pojavljuje filmski glumac Paul Newman.

Ja imam šestero američke djece i čvrsto vjerujem da će jedno od njih biti ambiciozno osloboditi mene i sve Hrvate od pogrešnih i neistinitih optužbi svih vrsta američkog State Departmenta. Gospodine predsjedniče, hrvatski su ljudi od početka vrlo časni ljudi koji su previše doprinijeli razvoju ove zemlje. Jedan od njih je fizičar Nikola Tesla i tako dalje. Ne postoji nešto kao što je “pošteno suđenje ili pravedna pravda”. Postoji SAMO MOĆ. Kako nisam imao nikakvu moć, morao sam potrošiti mnogo novca da se branim, dok g. Danniloff ne mora potrošiti ni peni jer iza njega stoji velika MOĆ, kao i iza gospodina Gennadyja Zakharova.

Vidite li sada, gospodine predsjedniče, razliku između LJUDI IZ MOĆI i PODLOŽNIH LJUDI? Možete li priznati, gospodine predsjedniče, da pravda nije u knjigama Ustava nego u čovjekovom SRCU. Možete li priznati, gospodine predsjedniče, da svi tužitelji u svakoj zemlji traže pravdu u KNJIGAMA ZAKONA jer je nemaju u srcu.

Iz svih razloga, gospodine predsjedniče, razumijem vaš strah od pojavljivanja g. Daniloff-a pred ruskim suđenjem, kao što sam bio i ja u strahu za sebe i svoje prijatelje na suđenju u New Yorku i kao što sam u strahu za suđenje g. Artukoviću u Jugoslaviji.

Nadam se da će ovo pismo biti upućeno naznačenoj osobi – Predsjedniku Sjedinjenih Američkih Država.
